Like hit a home run? That would be rare today.

Bruce takes a very close pitch for ball 4. 2 on, 1 out.

Not what I was thinking, but I'll take it.

Not the usual day. Aroldis very well rested. Pitches by mere mortals are flying over the fence. Would have been wise to use Aroldis earlier, but at least he got out of it with the two run lead.

I hope this does not lead to bad habits when they go out on the road....the dreaded GAB swing that some of these guys get into doing once they leave here and forget....they are not in homer heaven anymore.

Yeah I don't give him credit for putting the wrong pitcher in and then using Chapman for 5 outs to try to cover up his mistake.

First a balk. Then a walk. Now I figured the manager would come out to talk.

Point is that Dusty didn't leave Aroldis on the bench waiting for the ninth. Brought him in for the five out save.

He brought Chapman in at the right time. There was no reason to use him any earlier.

He could have used somebody else and the game could be tied. At least Dusty went to Aroldis before it was too late. Give him SOME credit, if not full credit.

Jim Tracy is on the phone calling Bud Selig demanding they move the home run fences back at GABP.

He should have used Marshall when he took Latos out. Now he has to stretch his closer for a 5 out save. How does he get credit for that?

So who would have been better in that situation? It's not like Jose has been a stiff and Logan and Sean were used yesterday. He's trying not to overuse the main guys and has been doing pretty good job at it....but since Jose failed this time...it was the obvious wrong choice?

When the lineup was first posted, I really felt like Heisey should have gotten the start today. Dusty just won't let him keep starting for some reason.
