Need more runs, but the lefty is gone.

So, Thom doesn't know the driving route to Houston. He'd never cut it in my line of work.

Good outing by Latos despite what the box score shows. Balls were flying and he didn't give up much more than those cheap HRs.

Does he pitch the 8th? I think I'd run him out there and leave him in until a baserunner gets on.

    At 90 pitches, I agree.

I always though Roenicke would be a good reliever. He's knocked around, but he has the ability to miss some bats and to throw ground balls. He's looking pretty good this series for the Rockies.

Similar in a way to Volquez who also strikes guys out and throws ground balls.

Wow. No more lefty and the supporting cast goes silent. Stars are up next inning to get the insurance runs.

If he'd just choke up with 2 strikes on him, he would catch up to those. Don't we have a hitting coach?
