Why? This isn't the Pirates of old, they have some nice young talent, a decent pitching staff and improving. People need to wake up and see that the Pirates are not the dormats of the Central like the Cubs and even Brewers are at this point this year.

Fully expect to win tonight. Cozart and Frazier back in the lineup and way too many things went wrong yesterday.

With Morton pitching, it will hopefully be a good game for Bruce (1.153 OPS in 15 ABs) and Stubbs (1.010 OPS in 23 ABs). Ludwick and Frazier have also had some success against him, though in a much smaller sample size. No surprise Hanigan is sitting today- a .350 OPS in 12 ABs against Morton.

Hanigan is sitting because Mesco catches Bailey, no other reason.

Why does Stubbs start 34/35 games? Tonight, he's actually a good matchup according to the numbers....but why does Dusty ignore the numbers 5 out of the 8 times he doesn't match up well?

    That is all.

Rain is eight minutes away and the storm is slow moving. Could be an hour delay.
