This would be a good time to launch one, Costanzo.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

When your team so heavily relies on one player giving said player a day off when two scheduled off days occur in the next five days is dumb

Anyone think the Pirates will send Dusty a thank-you card for playing Costanzo over Votto tonight?

No. But you seem to think it's ALWAYS our hitters fault. Burnett is NOT chopped liver and he's throwing VERY well. How you can deny that is beyond me.

But I'm not going to get sucked into this anymore. Back to the game.

    BB to Costanzo.

Costanzo walks. Can the Manigan come through?

I was going to ask the same thing. Not to be critical, but is this necessary? He was 11 for his last 22. Didn't seem hurt. 2 off days coming up.

With that walk, Costanzo's OPS went from .125 to .178! Go Mike!

Running Cairo, really? If you are going to rest Joey just start Cairo.
