Is that a high school pitcher?

Lee looks just terrible right now. He is very slow, even more than usual. He looks like a guy who is about done.

The Stros would be smart to eat Lee's full salary and give him away. He doesn't fit with the team any more.

Let the Reds pick him up cheap. Put him on a winning team. Maybe let him spend two weeks getting in better shape.

I betcha the guy would hit the daylights out of the ball once he got into a better situation, like the Reds.

Just thinking out of the box, folks.
Actually, this is the best he's looked in quite a while. Hitting-wise. Day and night compared to the past couple of years.

I was taken aback by his weight when he came up the first time.

I agree. The Reds are good enough that a player like Lee who can't really be counted on consistently can still give you enough to make a difference. And like I said, I've always really liked him.

    Lee is hitting this year.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Yep. First time in a long while. And still not a fit for us. He can't play in the outfield at ALL.

But left field? I'd give it three fly balls his way before you see him pull up like he just did running to first. In a straight line.

Which is why Jocketty likely won't consider picking him up. I wouldn't mind focusing a little more on production, but I can't complain about what the defensive focus has done for the pitching.

Send him to boot camp for two weeks to get in better shape, then use him.
