Marty just commented this could be the rare game the Reds win without a home run & boom, Jay hit the dinger.

Call him Mr. Chapman. Make him feel a bit more respected.

Okay, so he'll scare the hitters to death anyway.

Probably don't need to use Chapman with a three run lead, but he hasn't worked that much so it's good to give him some work.

Brian Schneider - Chris Johnson. Basically the same guy.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

On the second strike, Chapman looked like he was taking something off the fastball. Didn't seem to throw it that hard. Clocked at 99.

    Poor Astros.

Will Chapman ever have to throw another slider in the closer role?
