The Reds have also activated RHP Andrew Brackman from the DL and transferred him from Louisville to Bakersfield

    Well deserved.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Is Brackman to Bakersfield likely a "paper" move or will Drew be pitching in the Bakersfield rotation? Does anyone know?

I doubt they would activate him just for a paper move. He may be doing a "rehab" assignment with Bakersfield for now.

Well Tony deserved this move, now let's see how he responds against a higher level, and older players. If he has it going on here it's only a matter of time till he's up.

Good, I hope he regains some confidence down in Bakersfield and comes back strong. He needs that velocity in the low 90s if he is going to be successful.

Nice for Cingrani. The next MLB Draft hasn't even happened yet, and he's already in AA!!

A summer watching a bad Reds' team, is still a pretty good summer.
