8-5 after three. This is as much total scoring as I'm used to seeing in about an entire series.

So far, his tenure with the Reds has been a disappointment.
Every game isn't going to be well pitched. Latos has had some bad ones, so have the others. It's a long season.

To me, the key is managing games like this to win. So if Latos continues to struggle just get him out of there promptly. Reds have a good bullpen, this is the kind of game to use it.

No attempts to save the pen here by letting Latos continue to pitch if he doesn't get right, quick.

Latos could go 5, give up say 6 runs and still get the win. Then continuing this all year he could end up winning 20 with a 7.50 era and people would claim he was our ace

Whatever, let's just get out of this game with a win.
