Lecure hasn't pitched in a awhile. I would not let him lose this game. I would make a move for a new pitcher now.

Greetings from Minute Maid. I'm sitting about 8 rows above the bat boy on the first base line. This one isn't much more fun to watch in person than it appears you're finding it on TV. There are a few. Reds fans here, but not many.

I think we can expect that any pitcher Dusty brings in tonight will struggle.

Yep, seems like one of those games. The ball looks like a grapefruit and the strikezone looks like a postage stamp.

I just hope Pete had the over tonight

Reds have Marshall, Arredondo, Simon, and if necessary Chapman and Ondrusek, the latter two having pitched last night.

They have plenty of bullpen fire power to nail this one down.

One or two more runs couldn't hurt.

"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

We already had a six run lead. Didn't work.
