Sounds good to me ... Drew Stubbs is horrible and plays every night. Ludwick has been beyond horrible and is a career .230 or .240 hitter. last year it was Jonny Gomes. If Dusty doesn't like him just trade him and end the merry-go-round. Lots of other teams want him.

I honestly feel with the adjustments Heisey has made he is ready to be our everyday left fielder. He may not hit for the power he did last year, but he has cut way down on his K's and is getting on base, he does all the little things well and with with him Stubbs and Bruce in the OF they are the best defensive OF in baseball. He is becoming more of the type player I thought he was when he came up and less of a homer/strikeout guy.
I'd much rather have Heisey out there every day over Ludwick. A trade isn't an option unless we can get an every day clean up hitter for LF and move him to CF. Of course that means Stubbs would be the one being traded.
I could deal with no Stubbs if it meant keeping Heisey. I think Heisey has shown good value in the field/lineup and also when pinch hitting. I'm not really a Ludwick fan (I'd rather give Heisey a legit shot at being the everyday LF) but I'd keep him over Stubby (I will call him Stubby until he is batting .300).
