    BP is unreal.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

That was about the finest infield play you can ask for in one half inning.

Votto made the first one with excellent positioning.

Phillips then with two tremendous plays at second.

The Reds have some leather on this ballclub, it really helps a pitcher like Arroyo. Great half inning.

I feel like Cairo's at-bats are getting better, but the end results are about the same.

Thom and Brantley going on again about what Cowboy likes to eat.

I think Cairo is entitled to more time to get it going. He's not entitled to the whole season, though.

When the Reds add a player, Costanzo is obviously the first to go.

But if they pick up two guys, Cairo could be on the bubble. Needs to pick it up offensively.
