When the grounds crew wetted down the infield between innings, they left it VERY wet. Cozart slipped and fell down in the dirt. Bad grounds work.

Nice play by Cairo, going to the line and making a good throw to second.

Not quite a statue just yet.

I wish Miggy would come around at the plate. I have no desire to see him leave, but he hasn't hit this season.

I think it's time for Miggy to join Maggs.

    The Manigan throwing em out
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Phillips grounds into a FC at 2nd. Would have been a DP but Altuve throws it away.

Joe Morgan might not have embraced advanced stats, but he still is one of the smartest guys in baseball. I love to hear him talk baseball.
"Man, the pitch looks fast, even in slow motion." Thom Brennaman on Chapman's fastball.
