Can't win 'em all I guess. Like the first two picks
Hit 2 HR's in NCAA regional game vs. Creighton two days ago. Moving on in college WS I think. Named Regional MVP. Hit 2 HRs in a game in Feb. too. 11 on the season.
I doubt LaMarre ever hit 2 HRs in a game in his life.

Attended 1976 World Series in my Mother's Womb. Attended 1990 World Series Game 2 as a 13 year old. Want to take my son to a a World Series Game in Cincinnati in my lifetime.
"This guy’s future is all about the left-handed bat, and as a fringy tools guy, that means his best chance is to rip in the minors and win a bench job in the big leagues."
Supposedly has really started to put it together late in this season.
Good call. Keith Law seems to like him more than most, as he had him as a top 40 player. I like the first two picks better. Gelalich sounds like the type of non-flashy overachieving college player that this regime seems to love (LaMarre, Lohman, Greene, Valaika).
Oh well, at least they went for upside with the first two guys. I would've preferred Virant, Rahier, or Alex Wood, but I hope Gelalich makes me forget those guys. Unless of course we take one of them tomorrow...

Go BLUE!!!
Not a bad draft overall so far. I'd have loved it if they'd changed the third pick to Virant.
