If they do sign them, and as much as I'm following the Reds farm lately I am REALLY liking our farm system next year and the year after

There goes Jake Barrett to the D-Backs
College relievers are jumping off the board
Jake Barrett just drafted by the Diamondbacks.
Who is left that you want the Reds to draft in the 4th round?
Wow - some high school coaches should be fired. Talking about the Quintana kid the Brewers took. They said his coach pitched him 400 pitches in 4 days in a tournament.

@redsmetz - LOL. I don't try to standout here. You get yelled at.
There is a round 3 comp too? I did not realize that. I thought com picks ended in round 2.
A lot of guys that could be tough signs are still on the board.
1. Kenny Diekeroger SS Stanford - expect up-the-middle players and Hinojosa is too tough of a sign
2. Skye Bolt OF HS - very tough sign
3. D'Vone McClure OF HS - fits up the middle criteria in CF
4. Austin Barr C HS - the best C on the board
5. Taylore Cherry RHP HS - huge local kid, very inconsistent. Very high risk (talent not signability) but high reward.
6. Hunter Virant LHP HS - might be worth the hail mary signing risk here
7. Preston Beck OF UT-Arlington
8. Rio Ruiz 3B HS - less of a need/spot for him now with Rosa and Rahier. Plus he may go to college now.
9. Trey Williams 3B HS - ditto
10. Damien Magnifico RHP Oklahoma - C'est magnifico
Go BLUE!!!
Way too early to say, but I suspect he'll be tried as a starter, as he has a very good fastball (sits low 90s but touches 96) and curve (sharp, late break), but needs a changeup. Most prospective pitchers need to learn (or re-learn) a change anyway.
Two plus pitches, difficult to hit (.208 BAA), more Ks than IP-- he's going to begin his career starting, IMO, and is likely to continue in that role until he proves to Cincinnati that he can't.
Another very high ceiling pick. Actually, the Reds haven't picked a low ceiling guy yet. All are extremely projectable.
Unfortunately, they also have low floors. (Though HS SS Reiher looks like a good bet to at least sniff the major leagues.)
