I am pretty concerned about the reds starting pitching. They have been throwing batting practice for the better part of 10 days. If that doesn't change it doesn't matter if the Pirates do freefall, someone will catch and beat the reds.

When McGehee hits, your not getting good pitching.

    Noooo....I hate Brantley.

i agree, when does this start to become a concern? because we know our hitting already sucks. If this continues then you can say bye bye to first place

Burnett seemed offended that he was yanked.

LOL, Ludwick was struck out twice in that at bat on consecutive pitches, the ump just didn't call the first. Ludwick is so concerned with pulling a home run that he completely collapses his front shoulder, and in turn can't hit anything on the outer third of the plate.

Nice inning from Jose. I'm reaching for positives here.

What was that George Harrison song?

Honestly though, if Bailey just has a below average game and goes 6 innings and gives up 4 runs, they are right in this now.

My Gameday is on the fritz. It still has the score as 7-2.

What a hitter. He deserves so much more around him then he has. He would be Josh Hamilton if he played in that Texas lineup. Just very sad that they don't have more around him.
