    Re: Joe Hudson

Is it likely that Hudson would start at Dayton? I see they will be playing in South Bend at the end of the month. Is that too short a schedule for him to join them and play in that series? I only see one catcher (Yovan Gonzalez) on the Dragons roster presently and he seems to be having a better season than he's previously had.

Nick O'Shea is also there as a catcher. I doubt Hudson winds up in Dayton at this early of a juncture unless there is an injury.

    From Billings Gazette

Catcher Joe Hudson, selected in the sixth round out of Notre Dame this season, was originally slated to come to Billings, but he suffered a broken wrist after getting hit by a pitch in his first intra-squad game. He’s expected to be out 4-6 weeks.

Hudson has been a hitting machine since being traded to the Angels. It earned him a promotion to MLB.
