I just love how inventive Phillips is at 2nd. Just a creative defender.

When I was at one of the Yankees Reds games, I thought he picked off someone and let loose a groan. The guy behind me gave me crap. I turned around and told him that he CLEARLY doesn't do his homework. Cueto simply has the best pickoff move in the bigs.

Nothing like punking out a Yankee fan

I went through this in my thread about Reds Stats Thru Fifty Games.

Latos and Arroyo are definite fly ball pitchers. Homer Bailey tends toward fly balls. In the bullpen, Hoover is an extreme fly ball pitcher.

The ground ball guys are Cueto, Leake, Marshall, as I recall.

Man he's impressive. Votto hits a nice little flaring liner into left center. Man on first, no one out.

I'm telling you, Votto could hit singles at will. If he was satisfied with singles, Joey would hit about .700.

Lol. Okay I love the sentiment...but that might be just a TAD overstating things. :O)

In all honesty, if he hit with a choked up bat all the time, he could hit .400. I have NO doubt about that.

    OK, .650.

Phillips with a single, Votto to third.
