No just platoon him. I don't want to see him against a 1/2 way decent right handed pitcher.

    Infield single.
A summer watching a bad Reds' team, is still a pretty good summer.

Here we go again. Bottom of the Pirates lineup, nobody with an average over .200 and they already have the leadoff guy on.

Sac bunt. Brandon gets tailpiped again. Tabata goes all the way to third. Nice play, Brandon.

Recurring theme of the series. Guy on third .179 hitter for the Pirates gets the job done. Reds go 0-3 in the same situation.

An "ordinary" left-handed Hitter. Not Fred Lewis or Willie Harris or that guy Coztanzo or whoever. Just somebody like Laynce Nix or Raul Ibanez .

Just somebody who can hit a fly ball with a runner on 3rd and less than two outs. Come on Walt is that asking for too much?

That was the biggest Phillips blunder since he got picked off talking to the Phillies infielder during that 18 inning game last year

Nix is a career .247 hitter with a whopping 66 bombs
