K. Got him. Hate to lose the lead but it had to happen sometime. More interested in seeing Chappy settle right back down and get the last three guys.
I still like our chances. Pirates closer is out. 3, 4 & 5 due up. All 3 with 2 hits on the night.
Chappy's ERA balloons to 0.30.

Votto, Phillips, and Bruce coming up.
When a guy hits a slider off his ankles and the next guy hits a pitch a foot outside and they both go to the wall you just gotta tip your cap to em. Good recovery by Chappy.

red dead fastball pitcher against our 3,4,5 hitters
Resop in.
I think there a couple reasons for the spell... first the Pirates pitching is phenomenal from starters to the pen. Second, their right handed heavy in quality starters and relievers...which is even more kryptonite for the Reds.
Finally, the Reds are in first place expect every team to give the Reds their best effort.
Reds are going to win this game, and it's going to be sweet.
