Cy Schourek over on Reds Reporter called it "the two-legged stool of benches".
IMO there is simply no way that this team stays in 1st unless the bench is significantly improved.
And all I can see happening is that Negron gets sent down when Rolen comes back. No quality upgrade and no additional LH bat(s).
It's as if Jocketty is on summer vacation. It's simply inexplicable considering how much is invested in this team.
