South Bend not being good hosts to Dayton so far. Dan Jensen has given up 6 hits and 2 walks in two innings as the Dragons trail 6-0. Yorman Rodriguez with the lone safety for Dayton.

There must be something in the water down in Pensacola. Kyle Lotzkar has 5 strikeouts through 2 innings tonight.

Dayton gets on the board with a Wright double and a single by Kyle Waldrop. Dragons unfortunately down 7-1 though.

Lotzkar gives up a 2 run shot in the 3rd. Wind is blowing out pretty good to left. Blue Wahoos down 2-0.

    He ended up with a rough, kind of curious night: 4.2 IP, 7 H, 6 R, 0 BB, 8 K.

Pensacola trails 6-0 in the seventh. A double by Gregorius is the Wahoos' only hit. Drew Hayes struck out 3 in 1.1 IP.

    Louisville loses 4-2.

One of the most under-the-radar seasons in the system is being put together by Kanekoa Texeira, who, after 1.2 scoreless innings tonight, is sitting on an ERA of 0.98 (although his peripherals are not as impressive).

His peripherals are why his season is under the radar, no one expects it to continue. I haven't looked recently, but does he still have more walks than strikeouts?

A triple by Carlos Sanchez (.382) led to Billings' run in a 1-1 game after three. Wes Mugarian twirls for the first-place Mustangs.

Yeah, 15-14. The walks (in 27 IP) blow up his WHIP.

I suppose that two hits from Yorman are worth mentioning. Practically nothing else is (OK, two hits also from Joe Terry) from Dayton's 12-4 loss.

Joel Bender had a "brilliant" (to quote George Grande) relief appearance for Billings: 3 IP, 0 H, 0 BB, 6 K. Sanchez has a double and triple, and the game is 3-3 in the 10th inning.

Dominic D'Anna, heating up, is 2-2. Hamilton was caught stealing for the 20th time. Bakersfield leads 3-2 after four with Daniel Renken pitching.
