I think the Reds may be playing with extra determination tonight. Last night's loss was tough. Good trait for a team to come back strong after a difficult loss.

    Pitchers fear Miguel Cairo.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Wasn't Cairo good with RISP last year or am I dreaming?

Cairo walks. At least one way to get on. First and second. 2 down. Mr Hanigan at the dish.

No picking on Cairo. He's done some good things for the Reds. Just not recently.

Maybe he'll have a good second half.

OOOOh darn - that slicer just went foul down the RF line. That was at least a clean single with Hanny's wheels

Cairo had a terrific first half last season. If I recall, his second half numbers weren't that good.

Tigers announcers on whether they should pitch to Hanigan in that situation: "Theres a reason he's hitting eighth"

Umm, no. There really isn't .
This will not change until the Reds win the World Series.......
