Just seems like when we have a chance for a big inning we end up only with 1 run. It happens quite frequently

I think that as much being careful as lack of control

They're saying Delmon Young would like to hit at GAB - how about DY?

? Line drive to the wall in right center is plenty catching up. Just has to be fair. Not real sure what you're getting at.

Just the way Latos planned it.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Tigers have a heckuva lineup - injury bug really hurt them - no way they should have a losing record in the AL Central

No, they really don't. They have the best 3-4 punch in baseball ... and then a bunch of mediocre (or flat out bad) hitters.

They weren't hitting to RF on purpose, they were simply swinging late.

Latos pitch is diving out of the zone and he's keeping it low so far - he'll be tough if he keeps locating that way

The offense hasn't hurt them. Fister is on the DL and Scherzer hasn't pitched all that great other than his 15 strikeout game.

Alex Avila, Delmon Young, and Austin Jackson are a little better than mediocre. Perralta had a career year last year and has fallen off a bit but their lineup from top to bottom rivals the Yankees IMO. Only Texas' is better
