At this rate, it's hard to understand why anyone is pitching to Votto at all. We may see teams start to walk him a bunch, as happened earlier in the season.

    Ludwick is DatDudeDP.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

First and third. Tigers having a team meeting on the mound. Ludwick in. He hits into a 5-3 DP. No run.

Ludwick is slow. Heisey might have beat that. It was a looong DP

BA leader in NL was .364 entering today's action. After 3-for-3 Votto now at .364 BA. Not that RZ cares about BA, lol.

Should Heisey have had that one?

Latos starting to elevate his pitches. Young drives a double over Heisey's head
