Julio when he was 60. Julio at 50 was still a force.

Heisey has me excited that Stubbs may soon be back, believe it or not.
I agree. Heisey is a decent back-up LF, but nothing more. Doesn't have the plate approach, contact ability, or above average fielding ability to make himself more than a role player.

    My kingdom for a DP.

When the big hitters come up, Cabrera and Fielder, the Reds will probably need a reliever. At this point, I don't have confidence in Latos facing them another time through.

Dusty probably has a short bullpen tonight, unless he wants to try a Simon or Hoover type.

But I just don't see Latos lasting much longer and I don't see him facing the big guys.

Leash has to be short about now.

I agree. I think Dusty should have gone to the bullpen before the inning started.

A usual Hannigan throw has him.

I'm encouraged by Latos start, though - if he keeps it down like that and keeps getting ground balls it bodes well

Very unfortunate turn of events there.

I thought Latos pitched quite well tonight. He got out of some tough spots. The defense wasn't very good.

And the Reds have left Votto on base the usual dozens of times.

Strike one gets away but the runner stays
