Problem with this game is that the Reds bullpen is pretty gassed. Either you get a tired Marshall and Chapman, or you get an ineffective Ondrusek, or you get the Simon/Hoover/Lecure crew.

Will be tough to prevail here, but never say die.

    Jose still out there now.

Jose gets to go 2 innings more than any other late inning guy.

And take those 120 losses out and the 2003 Tigers were elite.

"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Amazing. Blowing a 4-0 lead against a team like this. At home no less. With our (supposed) No. 2 pitcher on the mound no less. (And Arredondo gets plenty of blame as well.)
