Latos has had some problems in the middle innings. Some posters have said his numbers decline after he reaches some modest pitch count.
Would like to see him come on strong here for a few innings.
Votto can afford to take pitches. Votto sees pitches differently than other players, otherwise he wouldn't be Votto. It may seem easy to take the first pitch, but if guys like Cozart and a thousand others get down 0-1, they become very poor hitters.Originally Posted by RedlegJake
