Team A trades OF Jose Cruz and 3B Edgardo Alfonzo for OF Ichiro Suzuki.

Trade 2:

Team A trades OF Jose Cruz and 3B Edgardo Alfonzo for OF Bobby Abreu.

Team A has the option of picking up: 1B-DH Brad Fullmer, DH Josh Phelps, SS Omar Vizquel, OF Steve Finley, OF Kevin Millar, OF Alex Sanchez, OF Karim Garcia, OF Carl Everett, or OF Danny Bautista as the extra player.

Leaning toward Fullmer, Phelps, Finley, or Garcia, though, as I won't need any more SB's after getting the player in trade.

Are you covered at 3B if you trade Alfonzo? What does the rest of your roster look like?

I have Aramis Ramirez and Aubrey Huff as my backup 3rd baseman / utility players. I would move Ramirez to 3B and keep Huff as utilty. Huff is also my only backup 1B right now. Klesko is my starter.

Either trade would be good for you, I prefer Abreu to Ichiro. As far as who to pickup. If you want hitting, Phelps, if you want pitching, Garcia.
