He's pitching fine. It might be more troublesome to bring in someone new, always a chance they have nothing.

Yes, the bullpen hasn't been as lockdown as it was earlier.

Plus now he has a whole grand slam worth of insurance, so they can at least give him a little leash this inning. Homer will likely finish the 7th.

If I'm Jocketty, it would take a special offer to deal Frazier. I'm not calling him untouchable by any means, but even if he isn't a full-time position player, his versatility and bat make him a very valuable part of this team. If Rolen comes back, I'd like to see Frazier get a lot of ABs in LF

    Pitch F/X just reported Homer's 109th & 111th pitches at 95mph. He's staying strong deep into games.

Homer with a well deserved round of applauds. Really hope for no dramatics here.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."
