If you watch both videos, it leaves little doubt... In the regular speed video, you see him work it up, and then you get to watch another 20 seconds of him not acting like he has a loogey rolling around in his mouth... That ball also has a pretty strong upward plane on it. Laird is calling for it low and away, it ends up high and inside...

Let's try this again.
A pitcher has a lougy in his mouth, visible to the naked eye. He puts face into his glove, which is holding the ball, makes a spitting action, and when the glove is removed, the lougy is gone.
I guess one could argue that he swallowed the lougy, but that is the only other logical explanation, and odds are very high against that. it would be like arguing that a snow machine left snow on the ground in the precious analogy.
