We clearly aren't getting the same strike zone. I'm not normally one to complain about umpires, but it seems pretty clear to me.

Based on the actual rule in the book, I think the ump got the call correct as funny as the play looked.
I'm not positive, but it's possible that the backswing of the backswing touched the catcher in the belly. (Not a sentence I ever expected to type.)

If the balls and strikes calls against the Reds are this bad...per most everyone here, just about every other day.,....then why does Baker not ever go Bobby Cox on theses umps every once in a while. Talk about rolling over and just taking it.
