Pedro gets the start for Louisville tonight. Bats have won 3 out of 4 while scoring 25 runs in those four games. Nice to see the offense waking up a bit. The game is just getting underway. Scranton is the home team for this one.

Pensacola will visit Birmingham tonight. Game starts in a little less than an hour. Daniel Corcino goes for the Wahoos.
Dayton is just underway. It is scoreless after one. Tanner Robles will be facing off against the visiting Hot Rods from Bowling Green.
Bakersfield visits Stockton at 10 PM EDT. Sharky Rogers will take his sterling 2.24 ERA to the hill for the Blaze.
Villareal with a scoreless first. 2 Ks. Louisville batters are six up and six down.
Robles gives up a run on a pair of doubles in the second as the Dragons are down by a margin of 1-0. Dayton hitters six up and six down.
Ramon Ortiz is pitching against the Bats tonight. I can't think of anything particularly amusing to say about it.
I read today that five Bakersfield players were selected as Cal League All-Stars: Cingrani (who has been promoted), Rogers, Hamilton (of course), Lutz and Pearl.
BTW, the Blaze are 3.5 games up in first place. They're the only Reds' minor league team with a winning record (although Pensacola is knocking on the door).
Bowling work two singles and a walk into another run in the third and now lead 2-0.
Louisville gets singles by Perez and Gathright but fail to capitalize. Still no score after 2.5.
I am at the Dragons game. Bray just came in on his rehab assignment. Recorded 2 quick outs on 6 pitches all strikes. He looks like he could be back anytime
Scranton plates a pair in the fourth on two doubles, an error and a wild pitch. That is the extent of the scoring through 5. Costanzo, Perez and Gathright with singles and Soto with a double account for the Bats four hits. 39-year old Ramon Ortiz pitching for Scranton. Villareal through 6 now has given up 5H 2R 1ER 3BB 4K.
Pensacola jumped on top early, scoring two in the first. Gregorius singled, Greene walked and Guzman doubled them home. Birmingham got one back in the bottom of the third and are still batting.
Bill Bray pitched 1.2 innings for the Dragons tonight. He retired all 5 batters striking out 3. He threw 19 pitches, 15 of them strikes. I would think he will be back with the Reds soon.
Dayton explodes for five in the bottom of the third and has tacked on two more in the fifth to lead 7-3. Tanner Robles had a rough start 4.1IP 8H 3R 3ER 3BB 5K. Bray came on and retired two in the fifth as noted above.
Buckley with two doubles. Selsky a double and a single. Five others with a hit apiece. Buckley stroking the ball in the last 10 games. Hitting over .300 and OPSing over .900 during that period.
Bill Bray has now gone 1.2 innings. Zero hits or walks and three strike outs. Some decisions to be made about the bullpen by the end of the month as Massett seems to be progressing well also.
Cole Green on to pitch the seventh for Dayton.
Bats picked up a hit in the seventh by Dioner Navarro but still trail 2-0.
