    110-120 pitches is my pitch count target when a guy is throwing well, certain variables withstanding.

    Yes...I keep hearing that. Heard that all of May/June/July of last year. I seem to recall many of division winning teams from years past......sweeping teams and going on runs of winning more than just 7 out of 10...or 8 out of 9...once or twice during the year. Not just once every blue moon.

    Same here. I don't like 100 as a "magic number". And besides, not all 100 pitches are the same. He's fine.

    During the course of a season, yeah, you would certainly like some sweeps. But to expect a sweep at the start of of one particular series is mathematically foolish.
