    Go Reds!
Wouldn't mind them letting Votto having the rest of the game off.
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

What inning? With all the runs and trying to work I've lost track. Thanks

Ludwick just reminds me of Dave Kingman at the plate.

Frazier strikes out on straight as an arrow FB many inches off the plate. It never was a strike from the time it left the pitcher's hand. It's ABs like that which shows why he's a backup

I was just thinking that, though Ludwick is much better defensively.

Up by too many runs, no drama. Hurts the ratings.

That's a compliment to Ludwick. I doubt he ever attains Dave Kingman status

True. I was just going back to edit my post to mention that.

I remember back in the early 80's (1982, maybe?) when Kingman led the league in homers with 37, and had a .204 batting average to go with it.

Perhaps this is why Simon doesn't get more opportunities ...

He swung at one last night that bounced about five feet in front of home plate. I like the kid, but I think sometimes he makes his mind up that he's going to swing no matter what. Pitchers will get hip to that if he doesn't adjust.

I know what you mean but I'm more concerned that he can't even lay off straight pitches. At least the ball that bounces 5 ft in front of the plate had to have moved first.

Hey, Votto is now batting in the #2 spot! (Second spot behind the pitcher)

Lead off batter made an out, Negron then reaches on a error, moving to second. Simon with his first AB, just K'd. Isn't that special?
