I would have suggested Simon for pitching the longest, but it can be somewhat arbitrary. Did Arredondo get us out of a jam. I can't remember it was so long ago.

    Valden also K'd.

    LeCure into pitch, Hanigan receiving.

Looked like Mes tweaked something on his strikeout.

Why do injuries have to happen on a day where we kick the crap out of the other team

Ground ball up the middle, fielded by Valden - this one belongs to the Reds.

    We're still good
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Sorry for the choppy PBP - I was juggling doing several things at once. Couldn't even chew gum this afternoon.

Yes he did get us out of a jam. I guess that's deserving since it was a close game at the time

5-4 home stand, it could have been better, it could have been a lot worse. Nice rebound to sweep the Tribe after going 2-4 against Pittsburgh and Detroit. Reds catch a break in this next series that they miss both Johan and Dickey.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.
