He's lightning fast and athletic. He's the only guy ever to sprint down the line and hurdle the first baseman. He's on YouTube jumping over cars...and yes it is impressive.

He'll hit .225 and rarely walk...but exciting if he hits a gapper.

Reds miss Dickey and Santana. Good.

The Reds have been very lucky missing pitchers. Missed Strasburg twice, and now will miss R.A. Dickey twice and Johan.

Second three-hit game of the year for Ludwick. He also had one against the Yankees back in May.

missing good pitchers now may haunt us when we won't miss them in October.
    Is it "next season" yet?

Nah. We'll see enough good pitchers throughout the season where it won't be a matter of not being challenged. You just can't avoid that in a 162-game season.

Back when Clemens was on the Yankees and he went 20-3 and won the Cy he had I think 7 wins against the then awful Devil Rays....Mike Mussina was better that same year.

Dickey could mess with you and your swing. Prolly have Bruce in tears.

Mets hot, sweeping Rays is pretty impressive. We sent Bronson/Homer/Cueto against them so should take 2...

Santana may not be that strong come Oct, arm is still recovering from surgery and by then may be a bit warm and knuckleball doesn't move as well in cold air over warm air...
