Completely agree. Knowing the personalities and attitudes of the guys he'd be working with was one of the factors to Votto signing his mega extension. I can't imagine he'd like having to deal with Manny's antics day in and day out. He, nor the Reds need that.Originally Posted by RedsFanInBama

Ludwick is finally producing like the way we thought he could. Heisey has filled in well for Stubbs. Why mess with a good thing going after Manny who at this stage in his carrer would be not much of an upgrade, a clubhouse cancer and a PR nightmare.
I don't see how it would help ticket sales. No one cares about Manny anymore. We are in first place and have the best hitter in the game. If that can't sell tickets, Manny sure as hell isn't going too.
