That's 103 pitches for Niese, (Homer still at 68 ) if they don't pull him next inning should be good for the Reds offense.

Didn't our right fielder get plunked earlier in the game?

Yeah, everyone will deny it's intentional. I'm not even sure anyone told Bailey to hit him.

But it is sure a coincidence that Votto gets hit last night, then Wright gets hit. Now Bruce gets hit, and Duda gets hit.

Lots of coincidences in this series.

I think we plunked their 3rd baseman last night in retaliation for that one.

6-4 FC. Looked like a DP but a bad throw by Phillips and Votto can't make the tag. 1st and 3rd with 2 outs.

So can we re-name him David "Houdini" Bailey yet?

I must compliment Homer tonight. He's pitched well all year, but this game he has done very well with men on base.

Bronson Arroyo has always had the ability to pitch his best with men on base. I've always admired that about him.

Bailey may be learning from Bronson. Very fine outing without his best stuff and some tough jams.

Niese was on deck, so maybe he'll be left in. Homer now at 80 pitches after 6 complete innings. Let's pile up some runs!!
