Lineup is pretty good. Glad Frazier is DH. If Rolen is going to play third, wouldn't just throw Todd out in LF suddenly. Give him some time to practice out there and get ready.
Only concern is how the Reds will hit without the mighty Valdez. Heisey has some big shoes to fill.
Might have hit Frazier higher up in the lineup, not a big deal IMO.
Ah you beat me to the lineups. Rolen is back. Batting 7th is about right. I think I would have flipped Ludwick and Frazier though. I like these series sweeps. Let's make this a habit.
Fay says no corresponding move yet. I would think it has to be Negron going back down Louisville. I assume he has options and its the easiest move to make.

Does it matter if you have options if no body else is would pick him up? I wouldn't think there's much fear of losing Negron if his options have expired.
Could be Willie Harris getting designated again that way you've still got Negron to man CF in the case that Heisey isn't as ready as they thought he was or he re-tweaks the leg again.
Welcome back Scotty.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
I'm not going to take any digs at Valdez and Harris when they did their jobs this weekend. Sometimes just not screwing it up is important. They did nothing that diminished the Reds chances of winning. Valdez caught every ball he should and Willie got a nice PH double Friday night. I tip my hat to them for that.

...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.
Glad to see Rolen back. 7th is a great spot for him and his glove is always good.
[QUOTE=cumberlandreds;2632424] I think I would have flipped Ludwick and Frazier though. QUOTE]
Ludwick has hammered Lowe in his career (1.457 OPS). Rolen has been very good too (.914) , Frazier has been 0/5 (.000).
I think that is why the lineup is the way it is.
Negron optioned to make room for Scotty Roles.
Indians lineup:
Shin-Soo Choo RF
Asdrubal Cabrera SS
Jason Kipnis 2B
Jose Lopez DH
Michael Brantley CF
Carlos Santana C
Johnny Damon LF
Casey Kotchman 1B
Lonnie Chisenhall 3B
Lowe P
Ugly radar over Cleveland right now.

Any chance this one starts on time?
