Would have liked an insurance run there
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

They were rather harshly questioning his PA immediately following.

Assuming no Chapman today, pitched two in a row.

Wonder how Dusty is going to play this. Cueto can't go too much deeper, should be some interesting pitching decisions coming up.

I was just paraphrasing and condensing the mustard references.

Gotta figure Ondrusek should get an appearance.

Hernandez didn't think that Phillips should have taken the first pitch right down the middle with 1 out and runners on 1st and 3rd. That's a legitimate criticism.

Also, Gary Cohen didn't criticize at all.

Interesting spin on this game - listening to the Mets announcers as I watch

They are actually very complimentary of Cueto and the Reds in general

Valdespin strikes out swinging. 8 Ks for Cueto. 3-1 Reds after 7.

Cueto completely fooled Valdespin with nothing but breaking stuff and struck him out

Had it not been for one bad inning he might be going for a complete game today
