Great sweep for the Reds. The Mets were coming in off a road sweep of Tampa, and here in NY, all was well in Metsland. Let's just say that fans were expecting a slightly different outcome.

That series was all about the pitching. The Mets were blistering the ball in Tampa, and scored a mere 5 runs this weekend. Went from tied as of last Monday to picking up 4 games.

It's tough being away from home. No radio and no FSO. Have to depend on the old iPhone and hope for the best. Have to be polite at the in-laws and not check too often. I couldn't do it. On the way home, I plugged into the power point and listened to today's game. In a Prius (pray for me). Great series--two in a row. My only fear, with the Tribe losing 5 of 6, is we might have a rough time in the misake on the lake. We'll see. For now, I'm glad to be back home.

Good win with a bad lineup. You know you are going good when you have both Cairo and Harris in the lineup and still get the win. Also give Valdez a lot of credit. He's been great filling in while Stubbs and Heisey have been out. Couldn't have ask for more from him. Kudos to Marshall for stepping into the closer role today and doing a great job. I was really holding my breathe when Hairston was up. Great job be everyone. Just keep piling up the wins. The Reds have 10 game west coast trip coming up soon. Be nice to be about 5 or more up by then.
