Phillips is the best I've seen out there in my 20 years of paying attention to baseball.

Keith Hernandez says it was an unnecessary, hot dog play.

Cueto at 97 pitches. With his injury scare, I might call it a day.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I remember Keith saying in 2006 when we got him that BP had a bad attitude that got him run out of Cleveland. Keith decided early on he doesn't like Phillips and he's sticking to it.

I would probably give him one more inning. I have a feeling that might have just been dehydration for Cueto. He had pitched that long 2nd then run the bases during the top of the 3rd. He has seemed fine ever since.

He must be friends with the guys who sit by me at GABP who hate BP. Oh well, all I know is I'm glad he suits up for the Reds every day.

Hotdog play, right Keith Hernandez? Unwarranted dive on a ball Thole should have ran through.

In fairness, I don't think Hernandez actually said it was a "hot dog play." That was your words, but he did say it was unnecessary and that there were easier ways to make the play. He also referred to himself as a dinosaur and maybe that's why he would've preferred to have seen Brandon make the play differently.
