Between the legs on that play by Phillips.
Between the legs on that play by Phillips.
Phillips is the best I've seen out there in my 20 years of paying attention to baseball.
Murphy grounds out to 1st. 3-1 Reds after 6.
Cueto at 97 pitches. With his injury scare, I might call it a day.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I would probably give him one more inning. I have a feeling that might have just been dehydration for Cueto. He had pitched that long 2nd then run the bases during the top of the 3rd. He has seemed fine ever since.
Cozart singles to center. His 3rd hit of the day.
Thole makes a diving catch on a bunt attempt by Valdez.
Votto singles to right. 1st and 3rd.
In fairness, I don't think Hernandez actually said it was a "hot dog play." That was your words, but he did say it was unnecessary and that there were easier ways to make the play. He also referred to himself as a dinosaur and maybe that's why he would've preferred to have seen Brandon make the play differently.
Phillips flies out to the 2nd baseman in shallow right. 2 outs.
Bruce flies out to center. 3-1 Reds mid 7th.
