My girlfriend went to grocery store at the beginning of the 2nd inning she is going to be very disappointed with the pace of this game when she gets back.

Indians announcers say that the ump won't call a strike and that's really hurting the pitchers on both sides.

    Excellent analysis. And absolutely correct.

I would ignore this outing for Latos. He'll be fine next time.

I guess inside the park homers (scoring decision was stupid) are rally killers too. Bummer, but we're tied up at 7 at least.

It's sad when Lowe and Rolen are turning for the dugout and the ump calls a ball.

But doesn't it feel like to you we've said this about many of Latos' starts this year? "Well, it was the ump." Or, "Well, both teams were mashing. Just one of those nights."

As fans, we're trying to talk this guy into being better than he is. Because we gave up a crap ton for him, and we NEED him to be that good.

Now I'm not questioning his stuff. He could end up being an ace. And I'm not saying it was a stupid trade. But it should be obvious by now why San Diego made that trade. Latos can be very good. But very maddening. I'm tired of it after 3 months, I can only imagine how they felt after 3 or more years.

The strike zone tonight is definitely funky.

Top of the order is 0-6 while the rest of the lineup is 11-18.

When you have a five man rotation that's very good but not world class, this happens.

Some guys surprise in a positive way. Bailey. Arroyo.

    Others struggle unexpectedly. Latos. Leake.

It will be all right, I think. Lot of talent there, the rotation on balance will do fine. Even this game is a tie. Nothing tragic happening.

Now get me the lefty OBP hitter for the top of the lineup.

Even the Indians announcers are saying that Lecure got hosed on that last ball call.

    Now three outs.
