Anyone else going to the games in SF?

I will be at both games, carrying the torch LOUDLY.

Is anybody else on here going, either because you live in NorCal or are traveling?

Believe me, it was all MY PLEASURE! Wow, what a game!

First, my wife and I get tickets in a luxury suite through her job (she works at Google).

Then, it turns out that the next suite over is occupied by the Castellini family, and we get to meet owner Bob Castellini and Chief Operating Officer Bob JR! Got a picture with Bob which I'll post later.

What a nice guy BTW, and WHAT A GAME! WOW.

Now it's off to Game 2 tonight with great seats near the Reds dugout! (Section 108) I feel like I'm dreaming, don't wake me up!

    Go Reds!!!!!!!

Super Awesome!! In 2008 at GABP, I sat in the Cintas suite next to the owners. I did not have a chance to wave or say hi though.

What row number near the Reds dugout are you at? We will look for you.

Having lived in the Bay Area for a couple decades I usually attend a few games at att park every year. However I am unable to make the playoff games this year, had other more pressing issues to deal with unfortunately. Good job representing guys.

Re: Anyone else going to the games in SF?

Job move brought me out to the Bay Area after living for most of my life in Indiana. I was so excited in high school to get two yellow level seats to game 6 of the 1990 World Series. When the Reds won the first two, I was so excited as they could go out to Oakland, drop all three, and I'd still see my first postseason Reds game. When Benzinger caught the pop foul, the first words out of my mouth were profanity.

Now the Reds are in my new hometown, so I went both nights. Couldn't have been 100 Reds fans total in attendance, including Charlie Sheen tonight. (They played Wild Thing and showed him on the scoreboard between innings. When the fans saw the Reds shirt underneath his jacket, they started booing.)

It took me 38 years to see my first postseason game. The Reds are now 2-0 when I'm there. I hope they win three in Oakland later this month.

Fun to read the game logs of the games and follow along on the board after the game.

    Go Reds!

That is FANTASTIC!!!!!! Way to bring us home two "W's." It looks like you'll need a miracle for the A's to get to the World Series, but you did your part, now it's on the rest of us!

    Go Reds!!
