Hanahan grounds out up the middle, Kotchman to third. 2 outs.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Duncan K's. Another nice job by Leake to get out of trouble.

    1-0 Reds after 2.

Frazier struggling in this series. Maybe we shouldn't award him star status just yet.

Cards down 4-0 already, bottom of the 2nd, Tigers still hitting.

Tigers are 11-0 at home when Verlanders starts an inter-league game.

Frazier, Mes and Cozart all in a row.

What is this, the Rookie challenge?

I thought Dusty only played veterans.

    Let's go Zack.

Yep. I have not been impressed by his OF play the past couple years. Someone (I can't recall who right now for some reason) thought Frazier was best in LF...and considerably better at left than at 3rd. I just don't see that AT ALL. But that being said, he's athletic enough that given time, he'll be acceptable at nearly any position. I just think his best spots are the left side of the infield (I still think he's better at short than people think).
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG
