2-0, not walking Cunningham. Just pitching him carefully.

2-1 count now as Marshall drops one in there.

High fastball, swung on and missed, 2-2 count on Cunningham.

Foul back. Tense spot in this ballgame.

Now a full count. We know Marshall doesn't care too much if he walks him.

Sean Marshall with a fairly brilliant outing. Just an excellent reliever. Very impressive.

That's the way to drop a curve on him

This team definitely has some solid pitching.

I've been critical of him in the past for falling in love with his curve.

That certainly was not the case tonight. Good outing indeed

He went two innings, but there's a day off Thursday. Marshall probably won't pitch tomorrow, or will pitch to one or two batters only.

Joe Smith pitching. Willie Harris hitting for Mes.

    Willie!
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."
