Harris with a terrible slide - had he gone straight in with the lead leg he was safe...seriously that was on Harris with a terrible job of running

I hate bunting but I'm ok with it there. Cozart has to do a better job.

Heisey tried to be DatDudeDP again.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Bunt was right call there. Bunting right back to the pitcher was dumb.

Welsh saying the same thing. A straight ahead slide he may have been safe.

With a runner on 2nd, no outs, tie game in extras, 30/30 mmanagers bunt with a reasonably good bunter up there.

I don't know whose fault it was. Baker with a dumb bunt call. Cozart with a bad bunt. Harris with a bad slide.

But you cannot lose that runner at third. You cannot do that and expect to win.

Re: 6/19/12 - Reds at Indians

Harris had it beat all the way - the replay clearly showed his lead leg way ahead of the tag but he slid past the bag with his front leg and hooked his back leg to he bag which was a full second behind - a case where the hook slide was absolutley the wrong slide technique. He should have gone straight into the bag.

I think we should all rip on Dusty for bunting cause I know if he doesn't bunt there and it doesn't work we'd rip on him too.
