    There was a similar situation in the last couple weeks where Dusty didn't bunt, it didn't work, and he got ripped for that too.

    Keep in mind, too, that Heisey hits behind Cozart. That also cuts against the decision to bunt.

    I don't think it's a terrible play, but it was executed poorly, and the result is a real problem.

    I do like how the one time I say I don't like a Dusty decision is the time when others jump to defend it.

    That one got away from the pitcher. They were going outside there.

    Agreed. I didn't like that we did it with Cozart who was swinging well. If he didn't get a hit, you can still bunt with Heisey (who's a better bunter and not on fire tonight). Picking nits I guess.
