TOAST! Nice play by Jay! Looked like a double off the bat, but Jay cuts it off and throws a bullet to 2nd to nail Cabrera.

Cabrera with a base hit to right, gets thrown out testing Bruce's arm at second.

    Choo at third, two outs.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Votto to Leake ends the inning.

Leake is getting in trouble but bearing down and getting some big outs.

Time to get him some runs to work with.

Nice job by Leake once again. Of course I'd rather he have a clean inning, but as long as he puts up a zero...it's all good.

Joey hits a double. Isn't that his first of the year? I don't think I've seen him hit a double before. :O) Dude is in-freaking-credible.

Walt, would it not be a bit better if the hitters before Joey Votto got on base more?

Re: 6/19/12 - Reds at Indians

Why do the Reds batters continue to go for the first pitch watching it fail time after time? Tomlinson probably only threw nine pitches that inning, 7 to Brandon.

In that inning the answer was obvious.

    Heisey swings at everything.

    Votto can hit anything.

Bruce had a weak swing, he was just fooled by the pitch.
